Judy-Ann Abdini is the lead facilitator of Leading and Learning Linkages, a well-established education sector business. She is highly experienced in providing quality services to the education sector. Judy-Ann is also an experienced coach, mentor and presenter.
Judy-Ann has particular expertise in developing organisations as they undergo cultural change to improve learning outcomes for children and young people. Leading & Learning Linkages is now in it’s sixteenth year of operation.
Judy-Ann works in a range of schools across New South Wales. She has a particular passion for improving learning outcomes for students.
Judy-Ann began her professional life as a teacher of children with learning difficulties and over the next thirty-six years worked in a variety of educational settings ranging from preschool to university. Her last position with the Department of Education was as a relieving principal in a large secondary school in western Sydney.
She has extensive experience in equity programs including those to support schools in low socio-economic communities. Judy-Ann has particular expertise in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs for Aboriginal students and for girls’ and boys’ education.
Judy-Ann maintains current expertise in a range of evidence based pedagogies and practices. Judy-Ann uses her expertise to apply these pedagogies to develop teachers’ professional practices, leading to improving student learning outcomes.
She works with school leaders to implement the strategies identified in their school plans. Her extensive experience in working with schools enables her to bring a wide range of solutions for the many challenges schools face.
